Channel Challenge and Island Swim Classic Thankyou!

G'day guys!
I would like to say a big thank you to all the members who assisted with the setup and running of the Channel Challenge and Island Swim Classic! It was a massive weekend with a very high workload! Well done to everyone that was involved and congratulations on making the weekend so successful. A special mention must go to the following people;
- Each of the Area Co-Ordinators: Wiggy, Jackson and Cleighton, Rhonda and Stephan Blewett, and those boys who helped the leaders! You know who you are.
- First Aid Co-Ordinators: Rob Murphy and Keely Hannagan.
- Each Patrol: Wiggy, Jak and Cleigh, Mick, Boaties and Dan
- Water Safety: Chris Stevens, Iain Balmer and all the water safety team! You all did such a wicked job!
The brilliant, but also most frustrating thing about this thank you, is the fact that there are too many people to thank individually! I was very proud of the way you all conducted yourselves in a professional, positive and teamwork manner! The feedback from the public and significant others has been overwhelmingly affirmative.
I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Ron Nicholson on yet another fantastic effort and Event Director. He and the team put in a massive effort each year, but I think that this year will go down as one of the best: 25 years strong!
Keep up the great work guys, and let’s deliver another incredible weekend next year.
